INFOPARK : AN INTELLIGENT INFORMER
Parking Information systems are designed to aid in the search for real time vacant parking spaces by directing drivers to car parks where occupancy levels are low. The objective is to reduce search time, which in turn reduces congestion on the surrounding areas for other traffic with related benefits to air pollution and with the ultimate aim of enhancement of the urban area.
An INFOPARK System from Speedgatz uses Loop Detectors for counting the car park occupancy. Every interconnecting ramp between floors will have loop detectors installed and every vehicle passing through the ramp will be detected.
These detectors will send that information to the INFOPARK System. INFOPARK System will run the business logic, calculate the floor wise parking availability and send that information to LED Displays.
This information will be available in the system and can be viewed anytime by the authorized users.
